These are half-baked, perilous, use-at-your-own-risk, you've-been-warned, no-guarantee features that are optionally exposed to help diagnose problems or explore new functionality. It is not advised to enable the Experimental Features option! Having said that…

These features are exposed when enabling the Experimental Features option in OneMore Settings.

 

  • Enable live markdown conversion when the user presses Enter
    • Risk:      MEDIUM      
    • Version: 7.5.0
    • Modifies the page XML directly. Forces a page update (save) on Enter when markdown syntax is encountered, which can cause intermittent delays especially on larger pages.

 

  • Show the SQL used to search for hashtags when there are no hits.
    • Risk:      MEDIUM      
    • Version: 6.6.0
    • Informational only but exposing structure of internal data

 

  • Add the ability to search/replace raw XML in the Search and Replace dialog.
    • Risk:      HIGH      
    • Version: 6.6.0
    • Modifies the page XML directly and can result in a loss of your data!

 

  • Add the option to adjust the delay the Hashtag scanner waits between scanning each page.
    • Risk:      LOW     
    • Version: 6.6.0
    • May increase UI lag or unresponsiveness while using OneNote
